This custom-modified dual-inlet muffler is designed for V-Twin and other twin-cylinder engines with two separate exhaust ports.

The biggest advantage of this design is mounting flexibility!

Instead of mounting the muffler directly next to the engine, you can position it in a more convenient location where there is enough space and it will not interfere with surrounding components.

Two separate flexible exhaust tubes connect the engine's exhaust ports to the muffler's two inlets, allowing you to create a custom exhaust routing system.

This design is especially useful for golf carts, utility vehicles, generators, and other equipment where space around the engine is limited.

IMPORTANT: THIS PRODUCT INCLUDES ONE MUFFLER ONLY. Flexible exhaust tubing, engine adapters, clamps, and mounting hardware are NOT included.

INTERNAL SILENCER – NOISE REDUCTION

This muffler features an internal silencer designed to help reduce exhaust noise.

Its internal configuration may provide better noise reduction than some of our other exhaust designs, particularly open or less restrictive systems.

Actual noise levels depend on the engine, operating conditions, and exhaust installation.

This muffler helps reduce exhaust noise but will NOT make your engine silent.

No specific decibel reduction is guaranteed.

This muffler may be suitable for custom exhaust installations involving:

IMPORTANT: These are examples of possible custom applications, NOT guaranteed direct-fit engines.

This muffler does not mount directly to the engine. Suitable engine-specific exhaust adapters and flexible tubing are required.

This custom exhaust configuration has not been tested on every engine model listed above. Proper exhaust flow, backpressure, and installation suitability must be verified for your specific engine.

Please verify your engine's exhaust configuration, adapter compatibility, and installation requirements before purchasing.

IMPORTANT: The two curved pipes forming the Y-shaped assembly are the EXHAUST INLETS, NOT the outlets.

Each inlet receives exhaust gases from one engine cylinder.

The single 1.50" OD connection on the opposite end of the muffler is the exhaust outlet.

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS

Each engine cylinder has its own exhaust port.

A compatible exhaust adapter is installed directly onto each cylinder head.

A separate flexible exhaust tube then connects each engine adapter to one of the muffler's two 1.25" OD inlets.

Both cylinders feed into the same muffler, and exhaust gases exit through the single 1.50" OD outlet.

EXHAUST FLOW:

Cylinder 1: Engine Exhaust Port → Exhaust Adapter → Flexible Tubing → Muffler Inlet 1

Cylinder 2: Engine Exhaust Port → Exhaust Adapter → Flexible Tubing → Muffler Inlet 2

Both inlets feed into the same muffler, and exhaust gases exit through the single 1.50" OD outlet.

This design allows the muffler to be positioned away from the engine in a location that provides better clearance and more convenient installation.

The muffler must be securely supported independently of the flexible tubing.

1. TWO FLEXIBLE EXHAUST TUBES

You will need TWO separate flexible exhaust tubes, one for each engine cylinder.

You can find a wide selection of flexible exhaust tubing on Amazon, often at competitive prices.

Many flexible exhaust tubing kits also include exhaust clamps for securing the tubing connections. We recommend choosing a kit that includes the clamps when available.

VERY IMPORTANT: THE FLEXIBLE EXHAUST TUBING MUST HAVE A 1.25" INSIDE DIAMETER (ID) AT THE MUFFLER CONNECTION.

Our muffler has two 1.25" OD inlet pipes. The flexible tubing must fit over these connections.

FLEXIBLE EXHAUST TUBING = 1.25" ID AT THE MUFFLER END

Do not confuse inside diameter (ID) with outside diameter (OD).

Please verify the actual dimensions of the flexible tubing before purchasing. Some products use different end fittings or nominal sizes, and additional connectors may be required.

Also, make sure the opposite end of each flexible tube is compatible with the exhaust adapter selected for your engine.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT TUBING LENGTH

Every installation is different, so we strongly recommend determining the muffler's mounting location before ordering the flexible exhaust tubing.

For best results:

1. Decide where you want to install the muffler.
2. Temporarily position the muffler in your preferred mounting location.
3. Make sure there is sufficient clearance and a suitable mounting support.
4. Measure the distance from each engine exhaust adapter to its corresponding muffler inlet, following the intended tubing route.
5. Allow sufficient length for connections, necessary bends, and normal engine movement.
6. Order the correct flexible tubing length for each cylinder.

Avoid sharp bends, excessive tension, or routing that could restrict exhaust flow.

The two flexible exhaust tubes may require different lengths depending on your installation.

REMEMBER:

• TWO separate flexible exhaust tubes are required.
• Each tube must have a 1.25" ID connection at the muffler end.
• Measure the required length after positioning the muffler.
• Verify that the tubing can be properly connected and secured.
• Check whether the tubing includes exhaust clamps before ordering.
• Use tubing specifically rated for engine exhaust temperatures.

Flexible exhaust tubing and connection clamps are NOT included with this muffler.

2. TWO ENGINE EXHAUST ADAPTERS

You will need TWO engine exhaust adapters, one for each cylinder head.

These adapters attach directly to your engine's exhaust ports and provide the connection for the flexible exhaust tubing.

We manufacture straight exhaust adapters for certain engine models.

PLEASE CHECK ENGINE COMPATIBILITY BEFORE ORDERING!

Our exhaust adapter does NOT fit every twin-cylinder engine.

The adapter linked above is designed for specific engine models. Do not assume it will fit your V-Twin engine simply because it has a 1.25" OD tubing connection.

Please review the adapter's product description and verify whether your specific engine model is listed as compatible.

If your engine is NOT listed, measure the center-to-center distance between the two exhaust mounting bolt holes on each cylinder head before ordering.

Compare your measurements with the dimensions shown in the adapter listing.

Matching mounting-hole spacing alone does not guarantee compatibility. Exhaust port dimensions, flange orientation, and available mounting clearance must also be suitable.

The adapter's tubing connection must also be compatible with your selected flexible exhaust tubing.

If your engine is not listed or you are unsure about compatibility, please contact us with your engine model and measurements before purchasing.

Engine exhaust adapters are NOT included with this muffler and must be ordered separately.

3. TWO MUFFLER MOUNTING CLAMPS

The muffler can be secured using two appropriately sized stainless steel mounting clamps and a suitable mounting support.

These are the clamps used to secure the muffler body to its mounting location. They are different from the exhaust clamps used to secure the flexible tubing connections.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT MOUNTING CLAMP SIZE

First, decide where you want to mount the muffler and how it will be supported.

Select stainless steel mounting clamps with an appropriate adjustment range for the 3.25" diameter muffler body and your chosen mounting arrangement.

If your installation requires the clamps to wrap around additional brackets or supports, account for those dimensions when selecting the clamp length.

Since every mounting arrangement is different, there is no single clamp size that works for everyone.

The mounting support must be strong enough to hold the muffler securely and withstand normal engine vibration, operating temperatures, and equipment movement.

Two mounting clamps are recommended and must be purchased separately.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION

• This is a universal-style muffler intended for custom installation.
• This is NOT a complete bolt-on exhaust system.
• TWO flexible exhaust tubes and TWO compatible engine adapters are required.
• The muffler must be securely supported independently of the flexible tubing.
• Do not rely on the flexible tubing to support the muffler's weight.
• Use flexible tubing rated for engine exhaust temperatures.
• Ensure all exhaust connections are properly secured and leak-free.
• Keep exhaust components away from fuel lines, electrical wiring, plastic parts, and other heat-sensitive materials.
• Allow adequate clearance for engine vibration, movement, and cooling.
• Keep exhaust components away from moving equipment parts.
• Avoid sharp bends or restrictions that could interfere with proper exhaust flow.
• Make sure the muffler location and exhaust outlet direction are suitable for your equipment.
• Route exhaust gases safely away from the operator, enclosed spaces, and areas where fumes could accumulate.
• Verify appropriate exhaust flow and backpressure for your particular engine.
• Some installations may require additional fabrication, connectors, brackets, or modifications.

IMPORTANT: This muffler has TWO 1.25" OD exhaust INLETS and ONE 1.50" OD exhaust OUTLET.
